The Domain Escrow Process:

Domain Sales Contract (optional)
Both parties get a customized sales contract, professionally drawn up to suit the needs of domain or website sales.

Payment to Escrow Account
Buyer places the funds in Domibay's Escrow account via wire transfer, Paypal, or credit card (CC only for transactions under $500).

Domain Technical Transfer
ICDomains works with both parties and their registrars to quickly and securely transfer the domain. Through our contacts with major registrars (Register.com, NetSol, eNom, GoDaddy, etc.) we can ensure the most efficient transfer possible.

Payment to Seller
Once ICDomains can confirm that the buyer is the owner of the domain name, we remit the funds to the domain seller. With the conclusion of this step, the transaction is finished.

Domain Escrow for outside transactions
If you are a domain buyer or seller, you can secure your domain transfers using Domibay's Domain Escrow service even if the transaction was not conducted through Domibay. Domain Escrow fees for an outside domain sale are 3% of the sales price (for minimum commissions please see price list). This amount includes the cost of receiving your funds via international wire transfer as well as processing of the credit card payment.*
